The new tender means Ethiopia is currently seeking to buy a total of 680,000 tonnes of wheat in international markets, Reuters reported quoting European traders as saying.

Ethiopia has also issued another tender for 200,000 tonnes of wheat closing on Oct. 15 and for 80,000 tonnes of wheat closing on Sept. 30.

A previous tender for 400,000 tonnes of wheat from Ethiopia had closed in July with no purchase reported by traders.
